The Protocols below will re-commence when we have permission to re-open. Members will be advised when we have more guidance from Government around the beginning of December, …., 2021, .... August

Protocols for re-opening from 10th August 2020.
The Wood-turning workshop is open again.


​Each keyholder will daily complete the following actions
Sanitising the Shed before members arrive:
  • use santising spray on all tables, chairs, window sills
  • vacuum and wash floor with detergent 
  • clean switches, taps, door handles with wipes supplied
  • clean both sides of toilet seat
  • maintain air flow by open doors (until winter!!)
After cleaning complete the sign off sheet and initial it

Record, using infrared thermometer, temperature of all attendees Sign the completed Member's Declaration Form and file for 6 weeks
Revised Open times to comply with Covid-19 regulations
​Half an hour before opening time Keyholder sanitises premises
Mon, Wed, Fri open 14.30-16.00; 19.00-20.30.   Tue, Thu 10.00-12.30
Half an hour after closing time Keyholder sanitises premises 

​Members should :
  1. Use a face covering
  2. Have temperature by keyholder taken on arrival
  3. Sanitise hands before entry using spray provided
  4. Keep social distance using chairs in their marked location
  5. Use disposable cups provided for tea/coffee
  6. Allow keyholder to boil kettle and supply milk for cups
  7. Bring their own biscuit(s) if required (to limit touchable items)
  8. Limit the numbers inside to six (plus keyholder) 
  9. Personally clean/use sanitising spray after toilet use
  10. Limit the time in the Shed to 90 minutes
