Our Shed, as a member of the Irish Men's Shed Association, is working towards a future where all men in the local area have the opportunity to improve and maintain their health and well-being by participating in a community-based Men’s Shed. Since we started in 2015 our main project has been the restoration of an old coach house, which is now a comfortable facility for our activities. We currently offer wood turning, art and horticulture but members are welcome to start new activities to suit their interests. Some members just come for a social chat over tea/coffee and biscuits. We are also contribute to the local community through making a range of outdoor seats and doing project work at St Joseph's Dementia Care Centre. Annual membership 2022 €75 (includes insurance, refreshments and use of equipment). Annual membership 2021 (suspended due to covid) but reverts to €75 for 2022 We are open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 14.00 - 17.00 Tuesday & Thursday 10.00 - 13.00 Monday & Wednesday 19.00 - 21.00 A Committee of 8 meets fortnightly to manage the Shed's affairs |
