Our Shed, as a member of the Irish Men's Shed Association, is working towards a future where all men in the local area have the opportunity to improve and maintain their health and well-being by participating in a community-based Men’s Shed. Since we started in 2015 our main project was the restoration of an old coach house, which is now a comfortable facility for our activities. We currently offer wood turning, art and horticulture but members are welcome to start new activities to suit their interests. Some members just come for a social chat over tea/coffee and biscuits. We are also contribute to the local community through making a range of outdoor seats, and planters and doing project work for Dun Laoghaire Tidy Towns and personal requests from citizens. Annual membership 2024 €75 (includes insurance, refreshments and use of equipment). Reduced to €50 for the second half of the year to reflect less tea/coffee / biscuits etc!! We are open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 14.00 - 17.00 Tuesday & Thursday 10.00 - 13.00 Monday & Wednesday 19.00 - 21.00 A Committee of 7 meets fortnightly to manage the Shed's affairs |
